Business slow at local fishing shops in recent years

Billings fly fishing shops have seen less business in the last few years as drought persisted, the economy sagged and anglers looked elsewhere for entertainment. “From what I've seen here, the local people have definitely dropped off,” said Jim McCall, owner of Rainbow Run Fly Shop.

Like raquetball & tennis in the 70's and other trendy things it reached a saturation point. I wish more folks would get into golf- more room on the water. I only hope they don't build more courses up north by the trout waters!
