Are you talking about the new superline clips? I was really impressed, got to fish with a pro during the Bay De Noc PWT. He was sponsored by offshore but liked the clips so much that he had the Church clips on the shore boards. Next spring my offshore boards will have church releases on them also. Do not know what your uses will be, If you want the board to come free while fighting a fish then those are not what you are looking for. If you want a board not to come off in rough conditions or hold superlines then I would give it a try.

They have a new dual action tattle tale flag as well. I have not tried it, but it looks slick. Flag can go up or down to indicate a bite.
I like the newer clip. It is on a plastic frame and I was concerned about breakage over the stainless one, but so far so good in 2 years. They area cheap replacement item as well.
