519-354-4242. Bass Haven on Mitchell's Bay will give you the info you need to get on the Bay ice fishing. They shuttle, rent shanties and guide ice anglers. At least they use too. Give the number a call.

Anyone getting any reports from over there? I’m going out of Stoney Point on Tuesday, haven’t been too successful in Mitchells, St Annes or St Luke’s this year, go west my son……

I have been following the reports on MB all ice fishing and it seems this season has been slower than normal. I think it really hurts that there is no longer access at St Lukes, especially for walkers, as that enabled you to access the deeper water and perch areas quicker.

I never understood why there are not guides or rental huts operators in MB area. Simcoe has lots of those, but I guess it is because they have a longer season. Still would think there would be a few. Makes it hard for a walker to fish that area since MB is so shallow.

Hope St Lukes opens up again next year, if we get an ice season.

St.Lukes “Duck Ranch” as we used to call it has been sold, the old man died and they sold the 200 acres it came with…..they will never run out of there again, dude that owns it now, he doesn’t need 10 bucks for parking…..I also believe the other property was sold that was right next to it off Rivard line road. They do rent it for $1300 Canadian a night, so you could have your own launch for the weekend……lmao

They don’t run up the Thames as much as they once did. But guys are catching Walleye this year in the lake, same as Metro. I think the lake is loaded with them, just need to find the bait…..
