I set myself up for that one.
That Gratiot & 23 mile is a doozy. My little brother has managed to have two trucks totaled there in the past 10 years. Thankfully he never got seriously injured.

I live at Hall Road and Hayes.

None of this surprises me.

I was driving home the other night sitting at a red light in the middle lane on hall road. I see this car approaching me from behind. It very stops, just keeps on going. The drive ran the light at romeo plank and then at garfield. Good think he did not nail someone.

My daughter lives just west of hall @ Card. Went there this morning at 8:30 and there was so much traffic. Left at 12:00 and had to wait 4 minutes to pull back out on M-59. It is crazy on M-59 at anytime. I refuse to go out there on the weekend and don,t go 50 miles an hour or you,ll get run over. "Better not say that because you,ll get a ticket".

I got one in the UP. How about the four way stop at the junction of 28 and 77 right by Newberry coming from trout lake. Yikes! I have seen LOTS of deadly accidents there.

There's loads of intersections up north that historically has never needed a light that now need one and it gets studied to death first. When I read this I thought of one just south of Petosky. On one side of US-31 is a Walmart,Home Depot,Office Max, and movie theater. Right across the street is the casino. Trying to make a left turn onto 31 is suicide, with traffic all kinds of lined up waiting to make a left, and there has to be 3 or 4 of these spots in a 5 mile stretch that now need lights, but their being "studied". Try looking at the accident reports quickly, that is all of the studing they should need.

This isnt a real bad intersection as long as you pay attention but, M-66 and Riverside here in Ionia. Really just a pain turning left at.

I'm surprised that the Van Dyke & I-696 intersection didn't make the list... it has been on it for a while and i didn't see anything gettin better. Yeah, go figure, i live in amidst the chaos that is metro detroit driving. The only thing that I can think while driving is that its not as bad as east coast driving and chicago area driving and from what I've seen of LA (don't have any urge to be there again).

I am surprized about the one in troy is in the top 10. Instead, it should be rochestor and wattles. The light is messed up all the time and I have seen many accidents there. Heck, going to work, it seemed like once a week there was either an accident, a pull over near by, or me coming close to getting hit. People ALWAY run red lights there, always. The joys of city driving. Of coarse right here on campus, I have almost came close to getting hit by the same kid around 6. I think that should be one:p I wish I had a brush guard:mad:

I work a couple doors down from Michigan Ave. and Huron River Drive in downtown Ypsilanti. Two lanes on westbound MI Ave can turn right onto Huron. Most people think that only the far right lane can do it so they don't expect the traffic on their left turning with them. All, it takes is someone crossing lanes as they turn, usually someone going to BW3's on Pearl, and you've got one heck of a sideswipe.

Ford and Wayne roads in Westland is another bad one.

They had the hole section coverd with Police.

I was wondering what was going on??

Looking for people not wearing seat belts and flagging them down at the light.

Caused a pretty good back up.

Yeah I try to stay as far away from "downtown" as much as possible, its always a traffic nightmare no matter what's going on. I went to Amazing Animals at Ford and Central City Parkway this afternoon to pick up some nail clippers for my cat, and was cursing the whole time.

I don't know what was worse, trimming my cat's claws, or facing the suburban traffic.

Christmas is coming, and I'm staying the hell away from the mall.

Monday (17th) N.Bound Gratiot at the intersection of Frazho had a total of Fifteen marked units (Local, County and MSP) working.

They were directing the "alleged" offenders into the Super K-Mart parking lot.

The entrance ramp to I-96 east, from US-23 south, near Kensington Rd. An accident almost every morning.
