Guys I would like to say MDHA is still alive, but we are currently struggling with some issues.
My name is Chris Simpson and I'm currently the state president of the organization. We currently have several chapters around the state and are hoping to recruit a few more in the near future.
Let me apologize to those who have sent in memberships and received no response. That is unacceptable! I have heard many stories of individuals who have attempted to join MDHA and have received no correspondence or benefits from the organization. This will change. We have made some changes to how memberships are handled and are in the process of implementing them.
We will be making a complete overhaul of the website with more control of the content. I hope to have the old site shut down very soon, but in the mean time please don't use the website. I would encourage you to join us on the MDHA facebook page where we are currently sharing Michigan waterfowl related information. The facebook page is located at the following link: https://www.facebook.com/michiganduckhuntersassoc/info?tab=page_info
As I stated earlier we are dealing with some issues that have been building for years and we are currently trying to get MDHA back to the level it used to be. I ask that you bare with us during this time of rebuilding. I promise you will see MDHA coming out of this slump bigger and better.
We are currently working on the return of the Waterfowler Newsletter. After lots of hard work by our members we have got the Michigan duck Stamp program back in the "black" and were able to give a percent of the 2014 proceeds to the Michigan DNR for habitat work.
Again please bare with us in this time of transition. If you would like to join MDHA please contact one of your local chapters.
