Maurice (Maury) Robinson Passing

I'm with sorrow to pass onto this site that our dear friend,
Mr. Maurice Robinson ( Maury) passed away this week at the age of 93 years young. He was an ultra avid hunter and fisherman all of his life and told us all stories of his younger days in life while in the field and on the water, which kept you on edge of your seat all of the time.
He fished and hunted on Lake St Clair all of his life and knew the lake so well that our new toys (Loran & GPS) had no advantage over his knowledge of lake.

Maury was bestowed an Honorary Commodore's position of the Huron Pointe Yacht Club (HPYC) in Harrison Twp where he and his wife (Grace) resided. No other HPYC member has ever achieved this title since its inception, some 50 years ago.

Maury, we all loved you and we all will miss you dearly.

You were the MAN!!

On behalf of HPYC and all of your so many friends Maury, may you rest in peace, and we all plan on having an R & R with water with you next Wednesday.
