Hi All...I'm new to this site and have been watching lures all day. Have been 3-5 mi offshore, currently 5 mi north of Manistee in 250'. After reading thread, have brought lures up to 35-40'. I don't want to throw in towel yet...any help for me?
I think you're experiencing what everyone else is dealing with. Yesterday boats did well on steelies, Lakers and a couple kings going 14 miles out. However, I heard that temp break moved further out. We got skunked last night with others in our marina. Giving it a try again in the morning.
Thursday morning went out to 180, it was dead water came in SW or port found a slick in50' rigger fired and missed then trolled my way in and had a 2 colors mix veggies uv go off miss again. Talked to guy at dock had one fish from outside piers . The radio chatter was mostly guys you couldn't see way out and they were doing ok but think fish are just scattered
