Anyone have any experience with the magnified 'hunting' bow sights? I have seen models made by HHA and Toxonics. Would you be able to see through them if they were wet? How do they fare in low light conditions? I like the cobra sidewinder that I have now but was just curious. Thanks.

They're very weather specific. I used a Savage Quick Click with an Impact Jumbo apeture this year. I have a 2X lens that I put in it for goofing around indoors and took the lens out to hunt.

I made the mistake of forgetting to take the lens out one day and didn't realize it till I got to my stand...2 miles back on a VERY snowy day and no allen wrenches to remove the lens.

Fogged, snow packed and plain old iced up that thing was. I never had a shot that day and I think I could have a made one 30 or under (I shoot both eyes open) but it isn't something I'd do on purpose.

Get one with a removable lens for indoor or 3D but I'd never feel completely comfortable in the woods with one.
