alright this has been a long running plan of mine, to build my own t/d recurve . ive been waiting for almost two years doing all the research and what not. over the past ten days me and my grandpa have been working all day long on building this bow. theres so much that goes into it. although i knew about all that it just seems like more when you actualy do it.

down to the bow!
its 60" 50-55 [email protected] 28inches
the limbs are walnut with yellowheart wedges, clear glass and black and white phenolic overlays.
the handle is zebra wood with a 3/8" piece of yellow heart between two 1/8" pieces of walnut running down the middle.

i really really liked making this bow and so did my grandpa. the next bow is going to be a longbow not sure when we'll start that.

heres all the pics. theyre clickable.

Oh my, oh my, oh my! Son, you are one lucky young man to have a grandpa so close that you two can work on a bow together. And, it's beautiful!

You shootin' aspirins out of the air with it yet?:)
