The match is this weekend.
We will be presenting a M1 Garand rifle to a wounded Vet at the match.
So if you get a change to come on out and support this project please do.

For the garand match you could shoot the sks but it does not meet the cmp rules so you would not be eligibal for medals if you earned them.

We will be shooting a carbine challenge after the Garand match.

the carbine challenge is 30 rounds in 60 seconds.
I have shot an sks in the challenge its really tough getting in the 2 stripper clip reloads but it can be done.
There has to be a min. of 1 mag change or stripper clip reload during the 60 match. so you would need at least 2 mags. or stripper clips for the challenge
The carbine challenge is for semi auto battle rifles like the m1 carbine, sks, ak47, and others Excluding the ar15 type rifles.

we are looking forward to meeting you at the match.

We had a lot of fun at the match and raised a bunch of money for the M1 For vets project.
We presented a M1 Garand to a Wounded Vet, Ed Allbaugh.
Ed brought his family along for the presentation and the match.
Ed shot a bronze medal score in the springfield match.
Nice shooting Ed.

Maybe tonight i will get the match results typed up and posted here.
It was great seeing all you guys again and meeting some of the folks that shot at our club for the first time.
Gordon Mason left his 3 AK mags on a bench out at the range.
I have them in a safe place.
Could someone contact him and tell him.
Match Scores as follows.
Over all match winner was Brian Quillen
Nice shooting Brian.
