Long weekend trip to Ludington . Lots of fish in close for small boat guys . Early morning & late evening bite in big lake 60 - 80 feet straight out was very good . Most fish were down 40 feet to right on bottom . Morning was very short right at daybreak , got to get there early or miss it . Evening was better with fish hitting till well after dark . mrymar was right on with his report , green glows in everything . We got fish on everything too, riggers , dipseys & fishcatchers/flies , spoons , J-plugs , all seemed to work .
Hit big lake on weekend because tons of boats on PM Lake , but fished PM on Monday . Not too many boats , but lots of fish . J-Plugs & spoons were working for us . Overcast that day & blacks & glow were going for us . If the crowd gets too bad , alot of guys were fishing at night , casting glow spoons & plugs from the pier heads & from boats in PM lake . Can't go this weekend , but its only going to get better . Good Luck
