We fished the point on Sunday in 130' of water. The fish beat us up pretty bad. We ended 6 for 18. There was a ten degree break and the water was piling on it's self making big rollers from the south. Then a 20 mph wind from the west made it like a washing machine. The fish were there and big kings. We had three meat rigs with 50 lb test bit off. One cut the line while we were letting it back out with the drag there was no tension on the line. Lost three nice steelhead same old thing fish jumped one way the bait fly's the other. Wire divers down 160 and 180 with meat rigs,Yeck Lightening on a free slider and Yeck Jerrod on the main down 69,Moonshine Blue Lemon on a 150 copper,High diver back 160 with a Blue Freakin Veggie all took bites. The biggest king was 17.5 and another was 16.5. Good Fishin.

Thanks for the report. I tried the pier heads this morning thinking condition could be right. No hits and didnt even mark any fish. There was some bait between the pier heads.

The ice must have melted off from them hanging there! When the temps hit 39 we headed south... bad choice. Only two. It was better the last two days.

The water was 42 degrees there Saturday. On Sunday it was 51 on the surface and 46 down 70'. There was a 10 degree break between the bathhouse and the stick. 41 degrees to the south and 51 degrees to the north. That's what made it like a washing machine there Sunday.
