Personally I'd be off the lake with the winds they're forecasting for the weekend. If it's strictly a shakedown trip and you're dead set on getting out. I'd be in the river myself tucked in to shore out of the wind. Good luck of you get out. And be safe

With the wind being out of the SW, I'd launch from Selfridge, and stay in the bay there.

if launching from Harley, be carful of the large pot holes. they are even worse this spring. may be from the construction truck traffic, but there are some pot holes that could swallow a trailer.

Those perch should be showing up in the Clinton River about any time now if they didn't already. You can kinda stay out of the wind in the river tomorrow.

Been super tough water is only foot and half deep.lowest I've ever seen.there definitely holding water back upstream some whare.jumbojosh got some whalefever when I was in Cabo.with that last rain and warm up.he said water came up 6inches.they showed up water went down ghost city they left.i actually gota hold off on getting my boat inn for a bit don't wana trash my new impeller I shoot you and AJ a text when it gets hot again

Your water, What their is with our drought, Is going straight out the spillway . But on the bright side, This is the Longest time frame that Oakland County has Not Dumped their crap from the 12 Towns Drain retention basin into the river via the Red Run Drain But I can just imagine what we'll get when the spring rains get here.

Hello Candice, This is the slit blockage {{behind Shady-Side Park}} The river is flowing straight out the spillway 🙄 Due to a blockage of silt back-up. It might be a good time to get in there to clean this mess out. We have DNR planted Steelhead getting ready to migrate and spawn as well as are walleye spawn coming soon, This is not Good! Photo's 11/17/22 Help us Out Please. 👍 And what's the chances of getting a fish Ladder on that spillway Weir??
