Is there any updated info on pike action on LSC? Anchor Bay or the weed beds up by Grassy Island? Looking to get out next week.

Thanks,

I got into a number of hammer handles today, but nothing was of quality was biting post cold front. Even the perch were fairly inactive. Tomorrow things should be a little better, and better yet on Friday.
I have always found lots of decent sized pike while searching for bass in the deeper highways and just into the bays or channels near the same highways. Chatterbaits, spinnerbaits and topwater baits have been the ticket. Nothing huge, but lots of 3-4 lb fish.

Big pike like cool water, so this time of year look toward the channels and their outflows, especially where there are cabbage weeds. So there should be some by Grassy and the weed lines along the N channel outflow drop-offs.
Go fishing, have your heart set on catching anything BUT pike, they will crash the party!

Yes, there is that approach, especially if you're trolling a 7cm original rapala for perch or bass with UL gear. They will all break off, and maybe trash your tackle, granted.
Sni Bora with big jugheads and twisters. Deep water. No wake zone.
