There are hundreds of Ducks down!!!

Took this shot on my way to work this morning. This is between the Clinton River and Huron Pointe. The shot was taken on 12/16/03AM. You will notice the black dots. That was just one portion of birds that were working the little bay between the two pointes. I had cars behind me when the shot was taken. (Didn't have time to stop and get out. That makes this an action shot.) Hopefully the weather wont get to bad before the Jan opener. I'm keeping my hopes high.

Nice picture! I work near the lake by the Clinton River and the ducks just moved into the bay on Monday. They look to be mostly redheads and canvasbacks. Lots of common mergansers in the bay too the last couple days, and a few goldeneyes and buffs + the usual 20 - 30 canallards. No ice at the ramps at Harley today.
