Since the last dark house thread was a sham, I figured I'd start this year out officially! Just under 4" of warm ice here in central MN.

I didn't last long out there. The sun came out and started melting my shack into the ice. Caught one bluegill before I left.

Yes I have a couple short spears for the flip shack one that's I shortened the handle for use and a garage sale spear my wife found last summer that ended up being the same legnth. My coffee is done now and after that I'm going to gas up my electric chainsaw and go cut another spearing hole. Hoping for some activity this afternoon
