Well seeing that nice 8 on his feet last night got me excited about the possibilities this late season. Can’t kill them from the couch, or work, so I’ll be out again tonight after work. As far as I know, my number 1 is still alive so I’m going to hurry out to that property after work and hopefully get redemption on him. Haven’t had him on cam since 11/20 but I feel like I would have heard if he had been shot. I hope I’m right about that…… Good luck to all.

Well I made it out just to check on my blinds. Good thing one of them blew over again! The little buddy got exposed and now it won't light!
Anyway, it was good to spend a little time in the woods fixing up blinds and it looks like there's a doe or two, maybe coming into a late heat that didn't bread the first time around! Here's a fairly fresh scrape. I found big tracks in it!
