My wife is doing something similar....makes me a little nervous and I feel guilty, I should be with them.....but she did this to coincide with my rutcation... so ?

Locked in 20' up in Ross Co ohio private. Moved away from the farm, I'm in the woods halfway up the big hill on a bench. I'm not experienced with the big hill tactics, but I'm giving it a shot.

Grandma and Great Aunt who owns a place in Naples are going so mine aren’t alone which would drive me Bananas if they were. First flight for my 10 and 7 year old. Nice little girls getaway for them

Had a big bodied deer pass by before first light, then a lone doe out in the beans for 40 mins, I was hoping my live decoy would bring one in.

Up finally in Midland county. Drama laden morning. Driving the wife to work, and came out of the street and a neighbors daughter had collected a smaller buck. Front of the car trashed and she’s only had her license a few months. Buck not looking great - completely totaled hindquarters. He limps off the road as I came in into a place another neighbor has permission on. Deputy and I looked to see if we could recover but swampy ground and he is still moving slowly. Going to see if we can recover it later on or at least put it out of its misery before the coyotes do. Drop the wife head to the target for the day, and it turns out they logged it more since I last scouted it! Fortunately was planning on going further into bedding anyway. So up late, lower than I’d like but couldn’t be happier to be out and hunting again.

Just had two does and a fawn come right under me and I had zero chance to draw. The air is so still when I went to move my bow the matriarch jumped about 5 feet. Luckily they never pegged me and sat around for 30 minutes before wandering off. I keep hearing grunts in the pines but no visual yet...

My son just shot his first bow buck. Looked like it went down 30 yds from the shot. Pics to come soon if we have service on the ground
