Have a week booked in Ontario 9/18-9/25 but a couple of guys are having trouble getting their passports. We are looking for locations as an alternitive to crossing the border. We love to fish foe smallies, walleyes and perch We would appreciate suggestions for a lake with a decent population of fish and with cabins. 4 persons aged 40-75. nearby access to some streams with trout and or smallies would be a bonus. All suggestions appreciated!

My go to Lake would be Intermediate Lake or Lake Bellaire, have enjoyed many a early fall blast and cast weekends in Antrim county

Check out the contour maps of either of these lakes or many others in Northern Michigan...

We like the raber bat motel. Nothing fancy but it is right next to the boat launch on the St Marys River. You can catch all different kinds of fish out there. Not much here for brookies.
