I am new to Salmon/Trout fishing this year.

I have a chance to go out one last weekend in Muskegon during the last weekend of September, but I don't know if it is going to be decent fishing... or if things have mostly passed us by at that point.

Any input?

I know that there are always some fish around, but we all know that some times are better than others. It takes a bit of cash and time to do this, so I don't want to make the trip if there isn't at least an O-K chance of getting a couple fish.

Any input would be appreciated!

Thanks!

PS - Any fall-fishing tips would be great! Thanks!

We found fish starting at 170' last night slightly north but none interested. Heading back out deep Friday night.
