You know I'm good for it, schedule allowing of course. Takes me over an hour to get there, but if its on the right day, I'm there.

Alright guys, since i have moved back to kalamazoo we have yet to have a meet n greet in lansing. I am willing to drive back to lansing to hang out with a few of the local yahoos from that area. I will expect a good turn out, i will try and iron out a date and place within a week.

Hey i am just as far away now Chris, maybe we should try to ice fish for part of the day and then have a meet n greet that night? Or even an ice outing up at Sleepy Hollow?
Fishing followed by drinking? Gee...I don't know. Sounds like too much fun. lol

Sounds like a good idea to me! I have wanted to make the ones in SE mich but they have been to far a drive. I work in Lansing so this works for me.....Patch

Sounds like a great idea. I can be available almost anytime, with a bit of notice. Man, wouldn't it be great to do a combo MnG/Outing......fish at Sleepy Hollow, hoist a few afterwards? Hope the weather cooperates......Accuweather longrange forecast gives me some hope for mid-January.
......If everyone wants to do that, Richard's Food & Drink on Business 27 is on the North side of Lansing, about 15 minutes from SH. It's a nice, casual place with good food. I would be happy to provide exact directions and any other info needed. If we don't fish at SH, then a place on the south side would be a more convenient MnG location for Ypsi and Quest.

Sleepy Hollow can't have ice, can it? This is not good weather. I'm all for a cold beer after work though.
If Accuweather is correct, looks like a good possibility of ice by the 17th (www.Accuweather.com). One idea, if there is interest in an Outing/MnG combo could be to plan for that weekend. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we could still drown our sorrows at some watering hole, anyway.

Yeah i posted on here when we upgraded the forums and my post along with one or two others was lost. Hooters is fine with me, and Ovid will work also, i have one other lake that may work but it is private and i will have to talk to a landowner there to see what he says.
