Ice Fishing Outfitters in Virginia Beach reported they are still out on 9 to 12 inches of ice. They are still cutting new holes. The ice should firm up over the next day or two.
Lake Simcoe Dangerous Pressure Cracks
The mild weather has taken its toll on Simcoe lately. Some of the pressure cracks are getting bad and some areas the ice is very unsafe. The areas in front of Beaverton, Pefferlaw, and Port Bolster have held up but we have another warm day ahead. Be extremely careful around pressure cracks with machines.
