Fished the North last weekend of access of M204, perch as fast as you bait the hook, not many keepers. Fished of Bingham township park towards the point a fair amount of slush in areas. One keeper walleye.
Grew up on Lake Leelanau and fished South a bit in December and early January got on some decent perch and a few walleye. Also, was spooled on a tip up before my line snapped I haven't fished it in a while because I don't live there year round. From some of my friends however it's been slow a few whitefish and smelt on the North end is all I have heard. Also, not to be discouraging, but I am coming home from college this weekend and won't even be bothering fishing it, I have a few other lakes in mind. If you do make it out, I hope you do well, there is definitely a large variety and good numbers of fish to be caught, hopefully you can get them to bite. Anyhow take care and tight lines
