when does the salmon run usually get going on the kzoo river. Or better yet, does it even get a good run??? I know they can't get past the Allegan Dam, but was wondering how the runs are none the less...

I know it usually depends on the water temp and level, but I usually try to hit the kzoo around mid to late september. I have heard of a few reports of salmon in the lower stretches, but it wont be long and hopefully they'll fill the system. Good Luck
