Has Milo’s buck been X-rayed? It could be a fake if not, right?
None of the top bucks in the record book have been x rayed. B&C Rules require a small core sample hole drilled into the base of the antler below the burr only if they suspect foul play.

The xray talk with rompolas buck was silly. Craig calderone was telling people he offered rompola 10k to xray it. He did this after rompola said he wasnt going to enter his deer into the record book. Calderone was trying to smear rompola as they had a long time feud.

I put the over under for closing this thread at 120 post anyone taking money?
I don't know about that one, but I'll take bets that the Rompola Buck is not going to pass an inspection, including an x-ray, on January 18 (or sooner), as was reported in another thread, by someone purportedly with an inside track.

Unfortunately it was lost in a fire. All the pics too.
Any new developments or statements?
Mitchs stepdaughter released a statement the other day. That was the latest release.

Gery Berger also confirmed again he is the one in the picture measuring the Rompola buck when the picture was taken along with the other two scorers.

But you can't eat the horns, so what's it matter.
Actually steve rinella just had a guest on his podcast that buys antlers by the pound. He sells them for the asian market for consumption. They slice them ultra thin or grind them and use them in herbal teas and other recipes. Asian cultures believe they have all sorts of different benefits.

So not only can you eat them you can sell them for a good fee to a market overseas.
