On December 29, 2006 fellow archer and avid traditional bow hunter, 40 year old Joe Kurek unexpectedly passed from this life into the next. Joe left behind his bride Melissa, their two young daughters Emily and Alaina, and his hunting partner/friend/father Stan.

Joe, along with his 80 year old farther Stan, operated SK Archery, a fine outdoor 3d facility in Standale, MI. His family needs our help and support.

We would like to invite you to attend a benefit shoot in his name to help his family. Any way you wish to raise money for this family is appreciated. All proceeds from this shoot will go to Joe's family. Some organizations and clubs are passing a hat at each of their events and shoots to raise money for this shoot as well as establishing donation cans. Any way you choose to assist will be greatly appreciated.

For more information please call Matt Clark @ (616) 322-7057 or Chad Dutkiewicz @ (616) 308-8985. To Register call Linda @ (616) 235-0145. A $50.00 donation will waive registration.

We have many items that will be raffled off and many more on the way. Here is a list of commited donated items as of 5/12/2007

1. Doskocil Arrow Case
2. $150.00 (or more) gift certificate for Stanley Steamer
