If memory serves, I think he's a former minister. He wasn't happy being term limited as Mayor of GR. He's a climate change guy appointed by Obama as a representative to some climate change conference in Paris. Also appointed by Snyder as an MDOT Commissioner.
Not a hunter as far as I know. Might do some fishing. He's on the Muskegon River Watershed Assembly.
Not a great pick for sportsmen. I assume he has to be confirmed by the State Senate. Cal your senators and voice your displeasure. Tell your friends as well.
