Whatever it is species wise it's a cool looking fish.

 

Definitely a pike. Just a different color variation. Same as a perch with no stripes, or blueish colored perch.

I would almost say a crossbreed of pickerel/pike….it highly resembles a chain pickerel with some markings of a pike, it definitely is a beautiful fish any way you look at it.

 

I’ve never seen a pike with those markings. Awesome fish.

 

Whatever species it is, that fish has some awesome markings and is a great looking fish for sure. Thanks for posting the photo of it.
