I haven't hunted for a couple of years. When I did it was enhanced by baiting...not obnoxious baiting...but baiting.

Even though I saw and passed on a couple of small does I did not feel that I had an advantage over the deer.

How far can DNR take these types of laws? I really don't think it is about CWD.

Is it about 'fair chase'? Do the anti-baiting supporters think the hunter gets an advantage?

How is using dogs while hunting different?

How is using bait to bring in fish different?

I don't want to start a war here. I just want to know why there are some folks that are SO against it and others that are proponents.
Please no flaming just state your case so I can understand.

Only saw one, a handful of apples. Didn't bother with it as I was sure it would be gone soon.

If I had found a substantial bait pile, would have done differently.
