You might want to be aware the local scum are cutting catalytic converters off. Came in from hunting and started the truck instantly knew. Police report was made but nothing they can do. I let my 15 year old son who was with know that's what drugs do.

I had tires slashed and my truck hit with a hammer, but it hink that was over a hunting spot dispute almost 20 years ago down there.

I had lots of very questionable conversations with people, one was with a guy in a jeep who was lost. Wanted to know which way the road was since we were talking about 1/4 mile or more in the woods from the nearest road. He was just driving around the forest.

Luckily meth was just getting going when I moved up north. I was just shopping today for expensive dash cams that record for a week and need to pay an annual subscription. I need to look into it more and make sure it's legit but I want something looking at my truck hen I park it.

I might just start setting up a couple trailcams nearby just in case, would take about 5 minutes or so and I'll be happy to have some footage if stuff like this happens to me.

Hopefully they can find a print or something that doesn't belong to you or your family and there is a record that goes with it.

That would be a interesting Thread about Vehicle Cameras.
I was looking into it and there are a lot of variables compared to cost.
I had to take my PC to Best Buy so I get free installation for a year.

Off topic, was at TSC yesterday and they had Vietnam made Jobsmart 10 piece Reciprocating Saw Blades for $10.
It even had the 10" heavy wood blades, a great deal if you are there.

On the topic how about gluing in a Magnet on the bottom of the Camera for sticking on top of your rear Axle Hub?
Just do not forget about it or there will be a Thread about leaving Cameras in the Public Hunting Parking Lots!

It likely would not take much for word to spread, but if a group of individuals literally began leaving "bait" cars out and about and then hid in the nearby woods until tweakers came and peppered them with rubber bullets....

Would only have to shoot a few tweakers before they would begin talking and word would spread...

Could also just pepper spray them and kick the crap out of them enough they would feel it for a few weeks.

Could be an entirely new kind of "hunting" season!

Tweakers are very skittish, they basically use them as target practice in many portions of very rural parts of the PNW... Often times you will see them half dead 30+ miles from the nearest town, no shoes, no car, when they become a problem they just take them out in the middle of nowhere and take their shoes so they never make it back to civilization alive... I saw it enough I was convinced law enforcement was even in on it out there... Be absolutely out in the middle of nowhere fishing some ultra remote place and there would be some dead looking tweaker half alive crawling around... creepy ****.
