I was actually looking for the same thing earlier today.
Try this link:

www.fishontario.com/ice-fishing

If it dosn't work, just got to fishontario.com and look at the menu towards the left side of the page.

Good luck and let me know what you think.
I've been talking to the family about a little weekend winter getaway to the Great White North, eh.

I've actually stayed in some ice huts on Lake Nipissing. Now I'm not sure if they are the same ones Ed put the link up for but I think they might have been. We had a six man and a four man, they could definitely sleep that many but there really wasn't enough room for everyone to be in there at once unless you wanted to stay in your bed the whole time. The guy that ran them was very helpful. He would come check on you every so often and made sure you had enough bait and propane. These did not have electricity but there was, I believe, an 8 man one you could get that was quite large. It had a tv, kitchen table and some sort of counter top that possibly had some type of running water. The 6 and 4 man ones had stoves in them and heaters. But if you had to sleep on the top bunk (which I did)you could barely sleep because the air was so dry. Quite possibly the worst 2 nights of sleep in my life. We didn't catch any fish but guys around us had. Theres supposed to be some good walleye fishing we just couldn't find any and we were only there 2 days. It was a fun time though.

Many of the hut operators will rent you huts for the night, but they dont' have a real kitchen or bathroom. They do have full length bunk beds.

But all I gotta say is, about an hour after dark the bite really turns off and it get REALLY cold, quiet, and spooky out there.

Let alone if you get caught in a storm. I saw a bad storm on Simcoe back in 2001 and it was some scary *****. A guy died on the north end of the lake who rented an overnighter. When it snows heavy they can get 3 feet of snow with 50mph winds.

I stayed on the ice in Minnisota (Lake of the woods) there was 4 of use. We had plenty of room. The shack had a small kitchen area, 2 bunk beds and a bathroom of sorts. It was equiped with propane lights and heat. Came with a power auger, bait and all the pots and pans. It was agreat trip, wew spent 4 days and 3 nights about 30 miles from shore. Caught a ton of perch, whitefish, walleye and burbot. If you want some information let me know I will see if Ican dig it up. It only cost about 165.00 per man.

Just rented one for the last weekend in Feb. The outfitter we are going with is Ice cabins of Gilford. They have a website too... Let me know if you need the link and I can send to you. We rented a 12 x 16 with bunkbeds, stove, woodburner and outdoor crapper. 300 bucks Canadian per 24hrs but he's throwing in 2 extra 4man units and the use of all other open shanties for an extra 20 spot per person. Bait and ride out is provided...

Another place to rent these "Ice Cabins" is a group called "Yellow Huts" which is also out of Gilford... They are 55 bucks a person based on 6 or 330 for a 24hr period and they too have a website.

This is the ultimate guys weekend getaway!!! I can't wait!!!
