Puddles forming on that shore ice getting bigger. They were not there at 9:30. OMG be cereful.

i remember once about 10 yrs ago channel 4 or 7 was there and did a segment on the crazy ice fishermen at metro. so the broad talks to some guy on the 6 oclock news like hes a kook and he flashed his bucket to the camera...i thought "there'll be 100 guys out there in the morning"

2 guys went thru at the daysail 1 hour ago, drove over to Crocker and watched another climbing out. Guess I'm done for sure with the ice this year.

I'll be honest the only thing that kept off that Metro ice today was having a nasty flu bug for the last week. I almost went anyway. I would've been spudding and shallow but am now glad I didn't go. I'm done with the ice. I'll be organizing the boat and tying stinger hooks this weekend.

Good to here they got out ok. Was worried was there with the family riding bikes and the chopper was circling pretty wide out there.
