#1 ranked Chippewa Valley looses to Dakota

I will give Dakota credit, they outplayed Chippewa and were out coached!

Dakota just barely made the playoffs with a 5-4 record but they came to play last night.

Chippewa had a 23 game winning streak going, and where defending state champs.

It was a great season and the Boys held there heads high.

I agree, Muskegon is a powerhouse.

Dakota came to play and it showed. Chippewa looked ruff, only ran 3-4 plays, and dakota was on offense for a very long time in the second half.

The chip boys will rebound and come back stronger and better next year

My little home town of Edwardsburg (less than 1,000 residents in the village) won D4 state last year. Undefeated this year, and got moved up to D3 for the playoffs. We play Zeeland West on Friday. If they win, it'd be interesting to see how we come out against Muskegon. We run the Wing-T, and have a ferocious D, so crazy things can happen.
