I just ordered 2 reveal x Gen 2s, should be here Saturday. I have heard great things about these cams. I down loaded the app, pretty cool features with app.
Anyone have issues with them?

I've had one out since last fall. Works great, gets pics to phone fast, and with their lithium pack/solar panel, battery level has not fallen below 100%.

Works great, app is fairly straightforward to use. I just use normal AA batteries and can get a couple months use out of them.
They are unbelievable! Bought my first one last year. Have left it up at camp in the upper peninsula since last fall. We all know how cold it gets up there. I used the lithium batteries not rechargeable. They still show 100%. It sends me two photos a day of my property and any motion in between!

I'm going to order two more one for outdoor security on the house that the ring doorbell and my other cameras don't cover and the driveway and one for back in my woods down here they are worth their weight and gold ! In my opinion, easy to program. So far so good but I have a really good test station with the variance in temperature of the upper peninsula!

Yeah I think im going to go with the rechargeable lithium packs, not sure about a solar charger yet. Maybe pick one up for my house security.

Love mine. Only complaint is that they are addictive, they multiply easily and can become costly for batteries, solar pac/panels and the monthly $ervice commitment.

I bought the cheap bastard yearly plan @ 55 bucks per camera. I am going to run 1 year round at my house and 1 year round in a bedding area. When I get more ill just do a monthly plan durring season.

I like the tactacams .been running quite a few for a couple years. Had a couple issues this spring with 2 , still trying to sort that out with a call to customer service now I need to dig into it. I purchased a combo with lithium pack to try and have it up at home for security cam for trial. So far a couple months , few hundred pics and battery level only down to 90%. Probably be getting some more lithium packs this summer and maybe some more cams 😆 like others said they're terribly addicting.

So do I understand it right,? The panel comes with a 12v battery, no need for other batteries?

The lipo packs are garbage if its an area you want to stay out of. They don't last long. Other then that I love mine. I'll be using an external 12v 20amp hr battery starting this summer in an area I want to stay out of.

If you want to go solar, buy your own solar panel and battery that are more capable of the job.

I don't remember, but I have the AA's installed and they never get below %100 after several months.

Yeah I definitely want to stay out of the area after August. So the lithium packs are garbage? That's good to know thanks.

Also remember Big Bucks live in areas with little sun for a solar panel... Work great on plot edges :)
