Oka guys reading the new restriction, I see a few problems.
First the dnr station is outside the hot zone
Second i live one mile out of the zone and hunt in the center.
The rule states movement of carcess in this area is restricted. Going outside this area you can only take boned out meat.
So how do I check my deer?
Second must I debone it in the feild?
Two state game areas are in the hot zone and many of hunter hunt them that live just outside the zone.

I dont know what theyre plan is, but cwd can survive in soil indefinately. so even field dressing could result in pemanent contamination by body fluids if the deer was infected. I believe that it can even spread contamination by live deer peeing on the ground.

several states also have banned natural urine scents etc.

Yes it will be a mess with feild dressing out a deer.
But as I read the new rules I can not transport my deer intact out of the hot zone. I live just outside the zone, and at this time the DNR station is also outside the zone 8 miles from my house.
I do not want to break the law, but I also do not want to pay to have some one cut my deer up. I can do it myself and that is part of the reward for me.
So how am I to get my deer from hunting location a couple miles away in the hot zone to my house that sits outside the hot zone, But I can walk to the zone?
