how the pits looking after all the snow anyone been out? Going out in a couple hours just wondering how the bit is

Was on the big pit at the end of the road on Wednesday . Had four inches of good ice but a lot of slush under the snow . I went out during the day so the slush should harden when the sun is on its way down . Caught a lot of bluegills and bass

Lots of snow and slush on top. Fishing was very slow this morning. 4-6 inches good ice.
