does anyone have any experiance with these grills. good or bad. how do they cook? i know that it is a infrared grill.

Its indirect heat. I think they cook good and are fairly versatile you can easily add wood chips or liquid etc.
When its cold tough to cook with and slow in the rain.
Pretty easy though through the meat on flip it once and its done.
Easy, and good but not fast.

Ive had 1 for about 10yrs would agree with above post they are great for larger slow cooking items pork loin turkey ect but steaks burgers dogs not so much

If I was going to dump 8-1k into a grill it would be a ceramic Kamado.. Versatility is un matched... Extremely moist cooking environment..

Super efficient low and slow BBQ basically immune to our cold winters.

Extremely high heat for pizzas and steak sear

Regular grilling temps

Operate as an oven for breads, pies etc
