Has anyone surfed fished Higgins Lake for browns or rainbows in the fall? If so where are good spots? Are there other in-land lakes where trout can be caught from shore.

both of the state boat launches(west shore and north shore) from the end of the docks have produced well for me, floating spawn as far out as you can trhow it and running small spinners. Also as far out as you can wade by the creek mouths inbetween west and north launches.
