That is what it looks like to me but posted the same question on Sunday. We found our first one and they are delicious.

Thanks guys. I've only hunted morels before. I do a lot of bow hunting and I always see a lot of different kinds of mushroom in the early season. I purchased the Mushroom Hunter's Guide but still a little leery as some of the mushroom are still hard to identify.

Nice thing about hens is that they are really one of the easiest ones to ID. Nice find.

I discovered a few of those growing in my summer neighbors yard during a house check. They're still there, maybe 3+ weeks old. Anyone have an idea if they'd still be good??
