I live right by the lake and there have been people fishing it the past week. Not big number of people. I have not talked to anyone but I figure this weekend it will be a zoo.

I keep hearing about round lake up that way for tip ups. Not much size but lots of action so fun for the kids. Can't figure out where that is though. Thinking it's not actually called "round lake" but something else. Thinking its the lake just north of the gas station/restraunt on way to silver lake

Yes it is just north. All the locals call it Round Lake. On a map it's Wycliffe or something like that.

Fished late afternoon till dark. Kept 4. That was about average.

I haven't done it since the kids were small years ago but I always had better luck chasing flags on Upper Silver than Round. I used to park by and access by the overflow - dip in the road on the south end.
