I've never really used crawler harnesses for walleye, but they have been lights out (from what I have heard) on my annual haunt, Hamlin Lake. So my question is, how and what is the best way to fish a crawler harness for walleye?

And do you just drift with them over humps and points, or do you troll...when using bottom bouncers? The max depth I'll be fishing is probably 30'.

Bottom Bouncers, drifted over the rock humps work wonders. We nail Walleye on them in Canada all the time. If you don't have a good wind, you can troll them, just go slow and let out a little more line. They will get down to 30 feet no problem.
