Hey folks. Im camping with the family at Newaygo State Park on Hardy Pond in a few weeks. I have never been there or fished anything like it in my life. I would like to try for Walleye, pike or smallmouth. I do have a big 16' flat-bottom boat Im bringing and just bought a couple rod holders and plainer boards to try to trolling for the first time. Can anyone give me any advice of a depth or area to try and what type of set ups might work there. ie; trolling, jigging, drifting, live bait, crawler harnesses, rapalas, bottom bouncers..etc. I am trying to learn to be more than a panfish and bass fishermen and am confident I can learn these things in time but if anyone could share some advice or setups I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
