In one of the annual ice-fishing mags there was a picture of some new jigs with green colored hooks (the new red I guess:lol:). I haven't been out shopping much but has anyone seen any of these new jigs for sale anywhere? Tried them out yet? I'm thinking they would be good to add to the arsenal.

I've tried green salmon egg hooks, after a few trout the green rubbed off and the hook was gold again

That's the same problem with the cheaper red hooks.:banghead3 I could go out and paint any of my hooks green or red but it will never last unless it's plated

Yeah by the time I change lure colors, lure profiles, baits, I never even make it down to the jigs I have with red hooks. Still, I like to have the assortment in case someone out on the ice says it's the hot ticket. (or if someone on here posts that its a perch killer;))
