By ice out they will both be good. High lines rule so use boards and 50'-100' leads depending on traffic. If It gets too crowded a 3/8 oz barrel weight will allow shorter leads and tighter turns. Stay away from the pack and rapalas, jointed rapalas, and similar baits do well trolled slowly 1-1.5 mph. blue, black, brown in clear water, chart, firetiger and brighter colors with rattles in dark water. Riggers work too a few feet down and long leads. Watch out you may hit a steelie, king, or walleye.
