Need to purchase a new gps/fish finder that the screen can be seen in sunlight and easy to program locations. Thanks for any advise.
Most of the newer style Humminbird, Lowrance, Garmin, etc. have screens that work quite well in even brighter daylight. Take your pick............lots of sales going on this time of year.:)

Thanks for info. Learned a lot of sales people selling the GPS's don't know much about what they're selling. I also found out if it's for sale it could old technology. The latest versions are almost never on sale.

The latest versions will be outdated next spring, so that logic says you should never bother upgrading. If what you have in your boat is a handful of years old already, even the stuff on sale now will still be a big step up.
