Go to campgrounds/make reservations on Michigan.gov/dnr. I went to Port Cresant campground.. they got 2 of them there.I don't have no damm face book account, can;t see
Could get a decent hotel room for 170.If my family is paying $170 a night, we’re not using KOA type public shower
“That’s a negative, ghost rider...”
But you don't have a geodesic dome yuppie tent.No thanks. I already have a tent. Lol
It is beyond ignorant if you asked for my opinion.
I rent a place in the UP 450/week. Kitchen, hot water, boat. Peace and quiet. It is beyond ignorant if you asked for my opinion.
Being firmly entrenched in the "Stay OFF My Lawn" fraternity, I find that all of this state's modern campgrounds are to be avoided on any weekend, and for a lot of them, are off my list year round. Now for a price comparison, the cabin below is remote with no neighbors and at roughly 1/3 the cost at $68 per/night.

Bring along a small rowboat, canoe, or even a belly boat and try for some trout.
