I have a '89 SeaRay with the 5.7 Merc I/O.
For the past couple of years I have noticed a slight 'slick' of oil/gas/fluid after running the engine for some time. I've had the seal checked and each year it comes back. Well, this year I noticed where it is coming from: One of the hydraulics on the power lift (port side). I witnessed the leak and when the bubble hits the surface and breaks the slick dissipates. Has anyone experienced the same problem?
What am I dealing with, here?
