i have the garmin 62 stc,it came preloaded with 100K topo ..i'm looking for a lake map that shows lake contours..navonics won't work in this unit. garmin guy reccomends US Lake VU HD micro card.franks has it 149 bucks..anybody have this ?and how do u like it?? any others better?this one has 17,000 lakes with 5700 of them showing 1 foot contours..i mostly want it for inland lakes up here but it does have lake huron -saginaw bay,-detroit river on it

I have the Garmin GPSMAP 78sc and bought inland maps for it for ice fishing. It's called U.S. Upper Midwest Fishing Guide. Most of the bigger lakes have the extra details and appear to be super accurate based on my depth measurements at my favorite fishing spots. Map only costed me $100

does it show 1 foot contours? mine come pre loaded with 100K topo. shows all the lakes but not contour. does anyone have the garmin us lakevu hd? thinking of picking it up at Franks tomorrow.
