Looks like the boat will be getting a wash this Friday, sun up to sun down, or limit, which ever comes first.
We'll be loaded for walleye, perch and pike.... in that order.
Probobly put in a WBR.
Will post any results we get.

Hey LB, chances are pretty good that I will also be getting the rig wet for the first time on friday. Won't be able to get out early as work has gotten in the way once more.lol Not sure where I'll be, gonna give the perch a try first at the Cross **** and then see if I can jig up or wire up an 'eye' or two.

Sounds great Dave, hope you can make it out.
We'll be trying up around the tip of Fighting Island and the close by areas first light then if nothing is hitting around there will start to work our way down river towards the stacks.
Pulling wire will be the main method, I think the mud will be flowing after the rain & wind.
A Detroit River slam would be real cool, walleye, perch & pike.
We'll keep an eye and ear out for you.

Hey Lead,
Went out of WBR today 10:30 till 2 saw 17 other boats out. We got zip but saw 1 fish taken around the stacks close to the warm water discharge. Water at the discharge was 43 Deg. Else where it was 37 Deg. Still kinda cold for Eye's. Find the right temp and you may do ok. We were using jig's with minnows. Bite is very lite, use stingers! Good luck, FISHWISH

Don't catch 'em all at the cross-dike, Dave, cause that's where we plan to be Saturday. Thought about taking tomorrow off work and trying it there, but it looks like there's going to be a pretty stiff breeze blowing in off the lake. Good luck if you can get out there.

Well, didn't manage a slam....far from it. But, did land a real nice 4 pound Coho on a #7 Firetiger handlining in the middle river. She fought like a crazy and was real fresh when I boated her. The lower jaw on this fish is mis-shaped and its a wonder she can still eat. Her belly was full of small minnows.

Put in around 8:30am and tried the middle areas and on down to the stacks hitting my usual spots in between. No other hits or bumps except for the Coho. Hope others had a better day than I did down there.

Going out again on Saturday for another round.
