Found some live white ash (not black)

No kidding, in the NLP of Michigan and they were mature trees. Lots of dead ones around, but these clearly had what looked like buds sprouting at the top. My buddies saw a couple others in this one woods too. I thought of going back with my camera when they are grown out a little more. I did not get photos.

Some white ash in my daughters sub division are very heathy .They are all dead in the area around her .Thinking they are some kind of hybrid nursery trees .Montcalm co.
Yeah, white is what I meant. Not sure why I typed black, so I edited it.
